Women often do not know where to turn to when they are suffering abuse in their family home. We provide a referral and information service that offers support and advice to women living across the UK.
Our aim is to support women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse by providing practical advice about what action they can take and what resources are available to them
- We advise and support women, helping them to assess and define the nature of the abuse they have suffered including physical, mental and psychological
- We talk through their options e.g. find a refuge or stay with friends, get an injunction and/or safely return home.
- We help women report their abuse to the Police.
- We can support women to safely plan for themselves and their children.
You can call our anonymous confidential helpline on 0208 317 8273 for information and help. Or to find out more about the service we provide for women and children, you can take a look at our services page.
There are also other national organisations that can help you if you need some advice and support outside of our helpline hours. If you’re in immediate danger please phone the police on 999.
